Lexus UX Sticker Bomb: urban style with sticker-bombing
The Japanese brand has just unveiled this very special edition of its Lexus UX, which features a total of 3,457 stickers applied by hand

One of the tools brands use most often to promote their models is launching special editions created in collaboration with artists or rising stars of the art world. We already saw this with the Lexus UX some time ago, and now the Japanese firm presents it under the name Lexus UX Sticker Bomb.
This new creation takes as its base that of the most urban model in the Lexus range, through which the brand wants to showcase its connection with culture, art and design, while also incorporating contemporary creation through the use of no fewer than 3,457 stickers applied by hand to the bodywork of the premium SUV.
Urban style for the most urban model
This handcrafted work is inspired by the Takumi masters and uses the Sticker Bomb style, which is considered a form of street art expression. We have seen it on laptops, skateboards, building façades and road signs all over the world, since although it became popular in the 80s in the USA, it has become a global trend.

Anything you can imagine
With the nearly 3,500 stickers covering the bodywork of this new UX, every kind of theme you can think of is covered: pop culture, TV series, films, rock, anime, legendary elements of Japanese tradition, hockey and rugby, clothing brands or even a sticker of the first Lexus, of the incredible LFA or the LY650 yacht.
Despite being one of the most eye-catching and curious creations of the Lexus UX, the brand has no plans to sell it. It will remain a one-off piece within the Art Car Project by Lexus, through which the brand aims to convey its connection with urban art and to remind us that “inspiration, art and beauty are not in a single place, but wherever the people who make them possible are”.
