The Madrid Motor Show takes place at the Ifema exhibition grounds from 22 to 27 May. In just one week, Europe’s largest dealership opens its doors to the public with one single purpose: selling cars. Gone are the days of shows as mere car displays. To learn about their features and novelties, information flows freely online every minute, on sites like Highmotor.

“What we are now about is selling cars,” says Miguel Aguilar, director of the Motor Shows at Ifema. “The old concept of shows as exhibition centres to showcase the novelties that manufacturers add to their ranges no longer makes sense, given that information flows online by the minute.

Both manufacturers and show visitors now want other things. The former want to sell their new models, and the latter want to buy cars at the best price. Madrid Auto offers a unique opportunity for both, but especially for buyers: by bringing the entire market offer under one roof, competition among the different manufacturers to attract the visitors to the show is greater and, therefore, the availability of better opportunities and more attractive prices increases.”

Up to 31 brands with all their novelties and the versions of their model ranges will gather at this year’s edition of Madrid Auto. A show where buyers will be able not only to see and directly get to know the models that interest them most, but also to test drive them thanks to the test areas set up by the brands present at the show, as well as to experience some of the new technologies these novelties incorporate. Visitors will also have access to a purchase advisory service, as well as wide-ranging finance, leasing and renting offers available on advantageous and special terms.

And all the manufacturers and companies present at Madrid Auto are making special offers to mark their participation in the show. These offers add to the usual ones the brands make for their various models, thanks to which vehicles can be acquired on even more advantageous terms.

Madrid Auto is completed this year with the holding of Madrid Auto Professional. In Pavilion 6 at Ifema, from 22 to 26 May, this show dedicated to professional-use vehicles, company cars and all the services designed to meet the needs of their fleets takes place.
