Los Angeles Motor Show 2011: Porsche Panamera GTS

First live photos of the new Porsche Panamera GTS from the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.

A couple of days ago Fernando told us all about the GTS version of the Panamera, and now it’s our turn to see the first live photos of a version as special as this one, a vehicle that proudly wears the Porsche badge on a stand full of new releases at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

As Fernando already told us, the Panamera GTS is derived from the 4S version, but it differs from it in a small power increase from its 4.8-litre V8, a series of upgrades that have raised the engine’s output from 400 hp to 430 hp, with peak torque rising from 500 to 520 Nm of maximum torque.

As is to be expected, and once again thanks above all to the excellent performance of the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox, it achieves a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 4.5 seconds. At this point it’s worth noting that the Sport Chrono package comes as standard.

Finally, it’s worth highlighting that the new Porsche Panamera GTS comes as standard with features such as adaptive air suspension and Turbo-variant elements like 19-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and braking system, all designed to improve the vehicle’s stability and handling.
