Marussia Motors begins production of its supercar

Marussia Motors, a Russian supercar manufacturer, has just begun production of its eye-catching B1 and B2 models, which have not arrived on the market alone, as the brand has taken the opportunity to open its first dealership in the Russian capital, specifically at Tverskaya, 17.
You will surely barely remember anything about a brand as new as this one, but to learn some of the company’s history you have to go back to the end of 2008, when Marussia Motors presented the first design of the B1, a design that included a hybrid engine that they seem to have decided to scrap.

The second model, the B2, presented much later, is a model whose design was inspired by combat aircraft. Like good siblings, both models have things in common, such as the 3.5-litre V6 engine supplied by the evergreen Cosworth, which will be offered in three power levels: 300, 360 and 420 horsepower.
To be honest, it is surely not the most powerful or most performance-oriented supercar, but according to the Russian manufacturer this power is more than enough to take a model weighing 1,100 kg from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
Now, since it is precisely not the most performance-oriented sports car in the world, nor the one that offers the best driving sensations, and Marussia Motors knows this well, they have decided to sell it at a price of 100,000 euros per unit. They hope these models will be well received, as they have plans for the future that include building 10,000 vehicles a year.
