Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte 2015 receive changes in Los Angeles

The Quattroporte S Q4 receives new exterior colours and wheel styles, while the GTS stands out even more thanks to highlighted body details and additional badges. The smaller saloon now includes Bluetooth and a navigation system as standard equipment.

Maserati has not presented any completely new vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but it has taken the opportunity to announce the 2015 ranges of the Ghibli and Quattroporte. After all, it is still celebrating its centenary, and North America has delivered some of its best commercial results in its history this year.

The most significant changes affect the Quattroporte S Q4 and GTS. The former gets three new exterior colours (Bianco Api, Grigio and Grigio Maratea) and two additional wheel designs of 19 inches painted in anthracite grey and others of 20 inches painted in silver, identical in design to those fitted on the Quattroporte GTS.

The most powerful and expensive version of the saloon is updated with spoilers and skirts painted in the body colour, the front grille surround in polished black, a “GTS” badge on the boot lid, red accents on the grille tridents and side sills, and bright red brake calipers.

Inside the cabin, there are new “GTS” emblems on the dashboard clock and leather embroidery on the driver’s footrest. In addition, the Poltrona Frau upholstery is now combined with Piano Black lacquered stitching to create a more pronounced contrast. As for the Ghibli, the 2015 model comes as standard with Bluetooth and a navigation system, and it offers, as an option, brake calipers with a bright finish like those of the Quattroporte.
