Maserati triumphs at the Turin Motor Show with its spectacular models
The second edition of the Turin Motor Show featured Maserati, the Italian premium brand, and its models as one of its main protagonists.

Last year, the second edition of the Turin Motor Show took place, where the models of Maserati made a significant impact among the nearly 50,000 visitors the event attracted. Among all the models on display, the Maserati MCPURA certainly stood out, the new vehicle that became part of the Italian premium brand’s exhibited lineup.
This model was shown in its two versions, coupé and convertible, which is being marketed under the name Cielo. This model has become the flagship of the Italian brand, with a design and development that are entirely Italian.

The car displayed at this location was painted in Ai Acqua Rainbow, a colour created by the personalisation division Maserati Fuoriserie. The coupé version was finished in matte, while the Maserati Cielo was finished in gloss.

This shade of blue transforms under sunlight and creates a rainbow effect, offering a spectacular and striking image. To achieve this effect, special pigments were used, strategically combined.
Another highlight in Turin was the Royal Gardens, in front of the Triton Fountain. Here, a selection of four models from the Italian brand was displayed: the Merak, the Ghibli SS, the 3500 GT and the McXtrema, so visitors could see cars that stand out from the ordinary, with a very distinctive style and performance.
This last model, the Maserati MCXtrema, is shown with eye-catching Blu Extrema livery. The model is designed for the track and cannot be used on the road, but this is no obstacle to it becoming a collector’s vehicle that every enthusiast driver will want to drive. Only 62 units were built, equipped with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 delivering a spectacular 740 CV.
In addition to these new and spectacular models, on Saturday there was a parade where these cars could be seen in motion, from the Royal Palace of Venaria to Piazza San Giovanni in Turin, passing by the Basilica of Superga. Dealership customers drove their brand’s cars so that they could get to know them better and appreciate their behaviour on the road.
