Maserati will present three new models over the next three years

It seems the time has come for Maserati, somewhat sidelined within the plans of Fiat-Chrysler. According to the three-year plan presented by the brand today, the Italian company will break out of its inactivity and get to work over the next three years, when it will present three new models in three different segments.

One of these models is almost certainly the much-mentioned Kubang, the brand’s SUV; another would be a vehicle similar to the Series 6 Gran Coupe and Mercedes CLS, as well as the new generation of the Quattroporte.

The Italian firm is very confident that the problems the industry has been going through will eventually be resolved, and that demand will be sufficient and justified for the brand to be building 50,000 vehicles by the year 2015, among them the Alfa Romeo 4C, which will be assembled at the Maserati plant in Modena.

Such a volume of vehicles to produce, which the brand has in mind, clashes with the harsh reality the brand has faced in recent months: Maserati sold 6,116 vehicles worldwide last year.
