Spotted the new Opel Insignia 2013
They got caught! Carscoop has sent us spy photos of the most popular model from Opel, the Insignia. After nearly four years as an elegant saloon with no major changes from one year to the next, the German brand has set to work giving its flagship a new look, if you’ll pardon the pun.
Beneath the camouflage of the Opel we can see a new grille and a slightly sharper bumper. There will also be changes at the rear, especially to the lights, which appear with provisional housings. The interior and the available equipment will also change. Obviously, improved technology will also be key to keeping up with its rivals.
On the mechanical side, improvements are expected to the diesel and petrol engines, where the engineers have focused on achieving lower consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
