Mclaren 600LT: discover how fast this beast from the English manufacturer is

The Mclaren 600LT will become one of the fastest, most agile and most luxurious supercars of recent times, incorporating all kinds of features to achieve it.

The Mclaren 600LT was revealed to the world last week. Conceived as a response to the former 675LT model, it raises power from the 570S to a maximum of 592 CV, loses almost 100 kg and gets an improved double-wishbone suspension of the highest quality. Of course, it will also feature its Pirello Trofeo R tyres, which will ensure the best contact with the asphalt.

For now, Mclaren has not revealed any figures or statistics on what the Mclaren 600LT is capable of, but just before the model makes its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, we can imagine the beast of a supercar that awaits us based on the numbers we do have, which we will tell you about below.

It will take 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h, which is exactly the same as the figures generated by the Lamborghini Huracan Performance and the 675LT. In fact, it will apparently be faster than the previous LT on some circuits. To reach 200 km/h it takes only 8.2 seconds, which makes it tenths of a second faster than the Lamborghini, and it will have a top speed of 330 km/h.

The 600LT gains a longer splitter at the front, a diffuser that is also longer at the rear, and an imposing rear wing that extends the car by 74mm more, which indeed lives up to its LT name, “Long Tail”. The new aerodynamic package generates 100 kg of downforce at 190 km/h, which is impressive, but it falls short of the Ferrari 488 Pista, which generates no less than 325 kg at the same speed.

Let’s talk about price: this marvel will be available for GBP 185,000, that is, around 210,000 €, which includes all the standard equipment that will already be a true marvel in itself. However, if you are willing to spend 28,000 € more, you can acquire the MSO ClubSport Pack, which includes titanium wheels, carbon fibre seats, as well as more parts made of this same material inside and a carbon fibre roof with matte finishes. For 30,000 € there is the option of the MSO Clubsport Pro-Pack, which includes everything above plus top-quality 6-point safety harnesses.
