We have already shown you the main technical data of the McLaren MP4-12C, and we were all amazed by them. According to the official figures, it accelerates faster than a 458 Italia or a 911 Turbo (including the Turbo S and GT2 RS).
In fact, if we fit the optional Corsa tyres, the MP4-12C is capable of reaching 200 Km/h from a standstill in 8.9 seconds (0-100 Km/h in 3.1 seconds with the same tyres). Few cars accelerate that hard, and all of them are in the style of the Bugatti Veyron. It is even faster than an Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Murciélago or a Porsche Carrera GT!
As the guys at the British manufacturer are so happy with their new supercar, they have decided to prove that what they say on paper is reflected in reality. So they took a 458 Italia and a 911 Turbo and pitted them directly against the MP4-12C on the main straight of the Portimao circuit (Faro, Portugal). Who do you think will win?

Pues es increible la aceleración del McLaren pero hay que tener en cuenta una cosa fundamental y es que el motor de este es sobrealimentado (turbocargado), mientras que el del ferrari 458 es atmosférico (sin turbo); lo cual quiere decir que las prestaciones del ferrar 458 se dispararían con este aditamento y sin lugar a dudas será más rapido que el McLaren mp4-12c.
Claro que sí, el f458 posee el motor atmosférico con mayor hp/litro del mercado y es una joya de la ingeniería. Mclaren se decantó por un motor turbo, que por concepto desarrolla muchísimo mas torque que un motor atmosférico, lo que permite aceleraciones fulgurantes. Con esto queda claro que no es una competencia justa , pero al final todos quieren jactarse de ganarle a Ferrari , todas las marcas quieren compararse al mejor de todos, Forza Ferrari.
sinceramente creo q el del porsche se pego una siesta en la largada porq si lo saca bien no la tiene facil el maclaren
