Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition, a model to celebrate success

It will arrive at dealerships in May, so those interested can start preparing their garage to welcome this special version of Mercedes. The double triumph of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team has been the reason for preparing the Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition.

Being a special model designed to pay tribute to the team, it is no surprise to find the inspiration that comes from the W06 Hybrid single-seater, with additional equipment that takes it beyond the model it is based on, which is not bad at all.

It is available in three grey-based colours: ‘Mountain Grey’, ‘Designo Mountain Grey’ and ‘Polar Silver Metallic’, a way of unifying the style while providing an image that recalls the Silver Arrows. To complement the style, there are details in Petronas teal green on the bonnet, the roof and the sides. The 19-inch alloy wheels are painted in sapphire grey to complete the desired image.

At the front, a more aggressive splitter has been added, which helps improve aerodynamics, along with the spoiler fitted to the rear of the roof. Inside, the aim has also been to imitate the sporty look that characterises the car.

The Performance seats are covered in a microfibre and leather fabric, materials that are also found on the steering wheel and other interior areas. Alongside the black colour, there are also green details to continue the design line of the F1 team being paid tribute to.

The engine under the bonnet remains the same as in the basic model, a 2.0-litre turbo engine with a power output of 381 CV. This new special model will come as standard with the Night, AMG Exclusive and AMG Dynamic Plus packs and will be sold only for a limited time, with a price starting from 65,402 euros.
