Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing team up once again, giving birth to the G 63 Cigarette Edition
Mercedes-AMG has once again partnered with Cigarette Racing for a new collaboration, which has resulted in a new boat and the G 63 Cigarette Edition

It is not something that happens every day, but it is only natural for sports car brands to join forces with companies from other sectors to create exclusive products that draw even more attention by leveraging each brand’s renown. In this sense, Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing, a manufacturer of luxury yachts, have been collaborating since 2007 on joint activities with their customers, which has also led them to create, under a shared idea, true collector’s pieces, both for land and water.
At the Miami Boat Show, Cigarette Racing will present a limited-edition vessel called the 59′ Tirranna AMG Edition, which will attract attention not only for its exclusive and refined design but also when its engines start up, as it features six 4,600 cc turbocharged V8 outboard engines generating a combined output of 2,700 CV. Alongside this water beast will be another that moves just as effortlessly across various terrains, the Mercedes-AMG G63, named for this new collaboration as the G 63 Cigarette Edition, and designed following the same principles as the boat.

For those fortunate enough to acquire the 59′ Tirranna AMG Edition, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cigarette Edition will be the perfect companion for travelling on land, as the two are perfectly coordinated. Overall, the exterior of the G 63 Cigarette Edition seeks to replicate the styling of the boat itself, for which the bodywork has been finished in the same special metallic black paint, accompanied by various design details.
Complementing this paint are other elements taken from the AMG Night Package, also treated in matte black, such as the specific front grille, side steps and front bumper protectors, rounded off by darkened rear glass and all logos in glossy black. The contrasting accent comes from the grey and gold side vinyls, with the latter colour also applied to the hub cover and the rims of the 22-inch forged aluminium wheels.

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cigarette Edition also adopts the same design pattern as the boat, featuring exclusive nappa leather upholstery in beige macchiato and dark blue. The carbon fibre AMG Performance steering wheel is likewise inspired by the boat’s interior, upholstered in dark blue; finally, there are entirely exclusive floor mats and the Cigarette inscription on the distinctive door handles of the G-Class.
Where there are no changes, and little reason for any, is in its powertrain, which still uses the same AMG V8 twin-turbo engine of 4,000 cc, delivering 585 CV together with 850 Nm of torque, enough to reach 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds; combined consumption is also set at 13.3 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 304 g/km.
