Mercedes AMG GT R, from "Green Beast" to "Orange Beast" with 761 CV of power
Renntech has taken charge of making all these changes to the Mercedes AMG GT R, swapping the well-known green colour for a more aggressive orange

Since it was unveiled, the Mercedes AMG GT R has been called “Green Hell Beast“, thanks above all to the marketing campaign carried out by the German brand. The green colour of its bodywork and its power have been reason enough to earn it this name and give it a unique presence in the market. But now the engineers at Renntech have decided to get their hands on it and transform it from top to bottom. Starting, precisely, with the bodywork colour.
From the green it is known for, it now sports an orange colour as spectacular and eye-catching as the basic model. But this is not just a cosmetic change for its own sake: the tuner has wanted to give it a fresh look, so we are looking at a new version of the model that will surprise even more. And among these new figures, we will see things like a power output of 761 CV and a maximum torque of 857 Nm, offering a completely new and appealing driving experience.

To give it this more powerful edge, the technicians have used new BOV adapters, high-flow air filters, an ECU update and new turbochargers, which add extra power that the basic model does not have. The result of all this is reflected in a reduction of 0.5 seconds compared with the acceleration figures offered by the “green model“, bringing it to 3 seconds. It covers the quarter mile in 10.7 seconds, with a top speed of 219 km/h. It has achieved these figures thanks to OEM Michelin Cup Sport 2 tyres.
It should be noted that this offers a power output of 577 CV and a maximum torque of 700 Nm, so the increase is considerable. The upgrade can be carried out on the basic model, so owners who have already bought this model can get in touch with the tuner and ask how much this update will cost for a model that never stops surprising us.
