Mercedes-Benz SL from Prior Design

Prior Design is showing today this Mercedes SL, dubbed by the tuner R230 Black Edition and with a good dose of body accessories and some other aesthetic details, although with the same engine as the SL.

Although the engine has received no tuning whatsoever, Prior focuses on giving the convertible a very aggressive look, creating a widening effect thanks to the accessories and 20-inch tyres, with the rear ones measuring 325.

Continuing with the accessories, the truth is that Prior has spared nothing. From the classic modifications to the exhaust system, a new, more imposing bonnet and bumpers, to the questionable decision to include underglow lighting.

The R230 Black Edition is one of the most eye-catching tuned convertibles we have seen lately, although the price and availability have not yet been announced.

It had been quite a while since I last saw anything from Prior Design. But like other aerodynamic Prior Design modifications on Porsche, Audi or BMW, they keep the same philosophy that the car should catch the eye, even if the engine is left untouched.
