The German tuner VÄTH once again gets its hands on a Mercedes, this time the E500 Coupé, to which it adds a series of modifications both on the exterior and a power increase for its engine, aiming to give it a more sporty look.

On the outside, the most notable features are a new lower front bumper spoiler, alongside another at the rear and a carbon fibre rear diffuser. VÄTH has also modified the adjustable suspension, allowing the centre of gravity to be lowered by between 20 and 65 millimetres depending on the owner’s choice.

As for the wheels, they are Smiths Wheels 20-inch units, fitted with 245/30 ZR20 tyres on the front axle and 285/25 ZR20 on the rear. However, it is in the engine where the German tuner’s influence is most evident, as it increases power by around 47 CV, reaching 435 CV with a peak torque of 575 Nm. All of this is achieved through an ECU reprogramming, together with a sports air filter and a new exhaust. As a result, the VÄTH Mercedes E500 has a top speed of 280 km/h.
