Mercedes ML 63 AMG by VÄTH

As if that weren’t enough, the 510 CV and 630 Nm of peak torque from the 6.2-litre engine of the Mercedes ML 63 AMG now VÄTH Automobiltechnik brings us a new version of this model, raising its output to 585 CV, with a peak torque of up to 690 Nm.
This power increase is achieved thanks to some modifications introduced on the ML 63 AMG, such as a fully customised sport exhaust, a new direct-intake air filter and a reprogramming of the electronic control unit.
In terms of performance, this VÄTH version achieves a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds, which cuts half a second from the standard model’s figure, and a top speed of around 300 km/h. For a little more money, further upgrades can be added: for €1,952, a Airmatic suspension lowered by 40 millimetres, and 22″ alloy wheels with Dunlop tyres in 265/25 ZR22 or 305/30 ZR22 sizes, from €8,568.
You can also fit, for around €4,640, a high-performance braking system with 380 millimetre discs and 8-piston calipers, fog lights for €580. Finally, for the mechanical modifications and the new ECU, expect to pay around €17,850 (plus €1,785 for installation).
