Little by little, Mercedes keeps insisting on reminding us that in a few months a new model will see the light of day, no less than the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster, a vehicle that, as we have already discussed on other occasions, will make its world debut before the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will take place in September.

As you can see, in a few months Mercedes will present one of the most beautiful roadsters of the moment, at least from my point of view and taste, a vehicle that today looks exceptional on your screen thanks to some sparse official photos that the German brand with the star has just released.

If you are interested in this model, you will surely find it useful to know details such as the final capacity of its cabin, something that has been much discussed lately because convertibles usually lose a considerable amount of interior space, which will not happen with the SLS AMG Roadster, whose interior space will remain at 6.1 cubic feet (0.173 cubic meters) compared with the 6.2 cubic feet (0.175 cubic meters) of the closed version.

Naturally, I should also tell you that the soft top will once again be available in three colours, black, beige and red, and can be opened and closed in eleven seconds, either with the car stationary or while you drive your SLS AMG Roadster at a top speed of 50 km/h.

As for equipment, like other Mercedes vehicles, this new SLS AMG Roadster will feature eye-catching elements such as the AirScarf, a system that blows warm air onto your neck and the lower part of your head, for both driver and passenger, integrated into the seat headrest; full leather upholstery signed by Designo, seat heating, WindStop, Comand navigation with DVD player, an alarm system, automatic climate control, KEYLESSGO…

Mechanically, as we have already discussed on more than one occasion, it will share its engine block with its closed sibling, namely a 6.3-litre V8 mounted behind the front axle and coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, capable of producing 571 CV and 650 Nm of peak torque.
