Chevrolet Corvette, Nissan Navara and Volvo XC90 recalled

Perhaps several weeks have passed without us having the chance to talk about those peculiar, sometimes striking recall notices that worry us so much, especially if one of the affected vehicles is our own.
As you well know, if that is the case you shouldn’t worry too much, since all manufacturers, unlike other types of companies, are obliged to contact you to proceed with the immediate repair of your vehicle completely free of charge.
As the title says, on this occasion the vehicles that will need to go to the workshop are the Chevrolet Corvette, Nissan Navara and Volvo XC90 due to certain problems I will try to explain below.
–Chevrolet Corvette: It has apparently been detected that the removable roof of certain units could come off “on its own” when you are driving your American sports car. The alert has been issued from Germany and, as far as I have been able to understand, the affected vehicles would be the Corvettes with Targa roofs manufactured from 2005 to 2007.
–Nissan Navara: According to the National Consumer Institute: “There is a possibility that, in extreme cases where the vehicle is used under maximum load and speed conditions, a crack may form in a spoke of the wheel rim. If not detected in time, in extreme cases, the crack could spread to the rest of the spokes and cause the complete failure of the wheel.” The affected units are those manufactured between 1 June 2005 and 3 July 2008.
–Volvo XC90: According to the recall, this veteran may have leaks of power steering fluid, causing noises and loss of assistance. Unfortunately, little more is known about this recall issued in Ireland; even so, if your unit is among those affected, do not hesitate, Volvo will quickly contact you to proceed with its repair free of charge.
