Mercedes Sprinter Grand Edition

We are at the end of the year, and why shouldn’t it be time to buy a new car? This is precisely what all brands are thinking, so it’s no surprise that this week they are “swelling” with limited editions.
One of the first to arrive is this new Mercedes Sprinter Gran Edition, priced at 143,000 euros, a huge van that has not changed its exterior styling at all, but whose cabin could look more like a private jet than a four-wheeled vehicle.
Truly, at such a price, it’s no surprise that inside we find details more typical of a Maybach vehicle than a Mercedes, such as refined wood finishes, Venetian blinds on the windows and even leather-upholstered seats with a massage function.

If everything in life isn’t sleeping, massages and lying down, and you need to work “a little” while traveling, don’t worry, since Mercedes has thought of everything and has included several folding tables made of wood and even two 32-inch flat screens on which you can watch TV, DVDs, connect your computer… why not? While we’re at it.
As is to be expected in a vehicle of these characteristics, you will have an internet connection, a powerful sound system, a small fridge in case you get hungry and even a convertible sofa bed, all of this within an endless list of extras that may make you prefer to be traveling rather than at home.
Now then, if we talk about mechanics, something very important in a vehicle equipped with so many extras, which later become “weight”, the Mercedes Sprinter Gran Edition has been fitted with a huge 3-liter diesel V6 capable of delivering 190 horsepower, more than enough to move such a luxurious monster with ease.
Unfortunately, a vehicle of these characteristics doesn’t fit very well with European tastes, so this van will be sold in the United States, a country where Mercedes has made public that it already has several orders, so the experiment is going better than we expected.
