MG Convertibles Compact Industry
MG will launch three new models starting in 2010

Seeing the warm reception that the return of the British marque to its home country has received, its Asian owners claim that this is only the beginning, since MG will have several new features in the near future.
To start with, as soon as all the units of the TF LE 500 are sold, more basic and affordable versions will be launched, with prices lower than those of a Mazda MX-5 throughout 2009, in order to reach the 4,000 units produced at Longbridge that will go to the local market, since those manufactured in China will not reach Europe.
In 2010, MG will sell its version of the Roewe 550 sold in China, and then it will produce two compact cars, the first the size of a Focus, and then another smaller one like the Fiat 500 or Ford Ka. It will also launch a new sports car to replace the veteran TF, according to BusinessCar.
MG had planned to sell the TF in the United States, but due to a commercial failure with the subsidiary that was going to manufacture them, production has been cancelled.
