Militem Ferox500, the brutal and radical transformation of the Jeep Wrangler
Militem Ferox500, the new creation from the Italian tuner based on the Wrangler V8 HEMI sold in the United States

We have already told you on previous occasions about Militem, an Italian company that specialises in adding generous doses of exclusivity and sportiness to Jeep models, as we saw last autumn when they unveiled the Ferox-T, a modification of the Jeep Gladiator that provides greater luxury, especially in the interior.
Once again, Militem is back with a new modification, this time, as it could not be otherwise, on a Jeep model: the Wrangler Rubicon 392, which they have named Ferox500, making it the fifth luxury model in the Italian tuner’s range. As you can imagine, since it is based on the Wrangler Rubicon 392, performance is assured, all combined with a more radical look. Let’s see what this Ferox500 has in store.

The Militem Ferox500 remains a thoroughly capable vehicle on off-road terrain, its natural habitat, but it receives an exterior design aimed at conveying greater sportiness. To achieve this, a new front bumper has been fitted, and just above it sits a matte carbon fibre grille. It features a new Dual Color finish and, higher still, a new bonnet with an air intake and black logos, a colour that is also used on the inserts, the hooks and the side vents.

That is not all we will find on the exterior, as Militem has fitted a set of exclusive forged wheels made using Hybrid Forged technology. These wheels are light yet capable of bearing heavy loads, and can be fitted with road tyres or off-road tyres. It also features the Black Performance Dual Mode exhaust system, designed by Militem with four exhaust outlets and valves to regulate its sound, which can be activated or deactivated from a button inside the cabin.

Moving on to the interior, Militem has equipped the Ferox500 with new seats that offer greater support and comfort. They are upholstered in Nappa leather and Alcantara, with contrasting stitching. Other interior elements such as the dashboard, steering wheel and gear lever are also trimmed in leather, combined with carbon fibre inserts. Nevertheless, each customer can choose from a wide range of leathers and colours to personalise the interior to their taste.

Mechanically, the Militem Ferox500 is fitted with the 6,417 CC V8 HEMI engine, capable of producing 470 CV together with 637 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic gearbox that delivers power to all four wheels. It is worth remembering that this engine is not available in Europe for the Wrangler, though it is used in the United States. Thanks to Militem, we can now enjoy it on this side of the Atlantic too.
