Mini Camden Edition: The new special series lands on the Spanish market

When we think of current compacts with a great legacy behind them and that also stand out for their charisma, the Mini Cooper is undoubtedly part of almost everyone’s thinking.

Today we bring you a new special edition that debuts in the range of this popular hatchback and that is inspired by the popular neighbourhood of Camden, a place in the heart of north London where music legends such as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and Sex Pistols were born.

With this introduction, the new Mini Camden Edition has arrived on the Spanish market equipped with excellent technological features and many elements that will help set this special version apart, full of personality.

Several options

Available in three colours (Island Blue, Rooftop Grey and Enigmatic Black) depending on the version chosen, whether three-door, five-door or the electric version of the model, the new Mini Camden Edition comes as standard with LED lighting units, Victory Spoke Black 16-inch lightweight alloy wheels, Union Jack rear light clusters, side mouldings bearing the special edition badge, and a panoramic sunroof.

Once we open the doors, the sill plates bearing the logo that gives this version its name already hint that the interior also brings a host of new features, such as its interior trim in Piano Black finish with this edition’s badge, its sports multifunction steering wheel wrapped in leather, or its 8.8-inch Connected Navigation high-resolution infotainment system.

Available engines and price

As we have already told you, this new version is available for the three-door bodywork, the five-door, or the Cooper SE. You can therefore choose between the 1.5 turbo petrol engine producing 136 CV and 220 Nm of torque, the also petrol 2.0 turbo producing 178 CV and 280 Nm of torque, or finally the electric version, which develops 184 CV and offers a range of up to 236 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.

As for prices, they start at 28,750 euros for both the three- and five-door versions with the 136 CV 1.5 Cooper. For the Cooper S and Cooper SE, we have not been given further details for the time being.
