Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (ASX), a facelift for the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show

At the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the facelift of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was on display, a model known in Spain as ASX. This model has undergone slight changes to offer a new look for 2016. At the front, the “Dinamic Shield” design has been introduced, along with new electrically folding and heated side mirrors, LED indicators and 18-inch alloy wheels. In addition, three new body colours have been presented: Cool Silver, Diamond White and Quartz Brown.
The changes also extend to the cabin interior, where there is a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adjustable to the driver’s needs. The panel housing the air conditioning controls has also been redesigned, and softer-touch materials have been used on the dashboard.

It also features electric power steering, an audio system with four speakers and an LCD touchscreen. Privacy for the rear seats is ensured by tinted windows. Keyless entry is provided by a system that includes a panic function.
The rear seats can be folded down in a 60/40 split, expanding the cargo space. The rear seats can also be reclined and feature an armrest and cup holders, making passenger journeys more comfortable.
All trim levels are equipped with the same 2.4-litre four-cylinder MIVEC engine. This unit produces 168 CV, with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. A version fitted with the All-Wheel Control (AWC) System is also available, for better performance on more difficult terrain.
