Mitsubishi wants you to buy an Outlander PHEV with a generous discount from the entry-level trim

Mitsubishi began sales in Spain of the Outlander PHEV in spring last year. Its arrival at dealerships took some time to materialise, but it finally brought us an imposing plug-in hybrid SUV that stands out not only for its looks but also for its equipment, which is highlighted from the entry-level trim of the range.

Obviously, all this generous technological equipment comes at a price: the Outlander PHEV starts from a base price of 45,750 euros, but with a series of discounts it can come down to 33,500 euros, which can now be reduced by a further 4,000 euros to a starting price of 29,500 euros. But before we get to this price, let’s look at what Mitsubishi offers with the Outlander PHEV.

In Spain, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV can be configured in four trim levels, the entry-level trim of the range being the one called Motion, which includes as standard equipment elements such as the following:

Let’s recall that mechanically, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV offers generous performance thanks to its plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a four-cylinder petrol engine with 2,360 cc and 16 valves plus two electric motors, one on each axle, achieving a combined power output of 302 CV together with a torque of 400 Nm sent to all four wheels through the S-AWC traction system with seven adjustment modes. Also part of this system is the 22.7 kWh battery, which provides 86 kilometres of electric range. It can be charged to 80% in 32 minutes using a CHAdeMO fast charger, or fully in 6.5 hours on a 3.5 W domestic charger.

As we said at the beginning, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in the Motion trim has a base price of 45,750 euros, which can be reduced even further thanks to the 10,000-euro promotional discount from the brand and the 2,250 euros from the Plan Auto+, bringing the price down to 33,500 euros. But now, a further 4,000-euro discount can be added to this price if you finance through the brand, thus bringing the starting price of the Outlander PHEV to 29,500 euros. Note that these discounts are also applicable to the other trims.
