Mobilize Duo: the new subscription-based electric quadricycle with 140 km of range
The subscription mobility brand of the Renault Group launches its new Duo, an electric quadricycle with good range, highly customisable and made with recycled materials

Just over three months ago, we first brought you the road test of the Mobilize Limo, a new electric vehicle that will only be sold on a subscription basis, mainly to logistics operators and fleets, and that was set to become the first flagship of the Renault Group’s new brand dedicated to “new mobility”.
Now, to coincide with the Paris Motor Show, the company has just unveiled its new Mobilize Duo, a small quadricycle designed for urban mobility, with sustainable materials, 100% electric and free from commitments, since, in keeping with the brand’s philosophy, it will only be available on a subscription basis.
Starting with its design, the new Mobilize Duo is directly reminiscent of the already veteran Renault Twizy, measuring 2.43 metres long and 1.30 metres wide, with wheel arches that protrude from the bodywork and wrap around its wheels, and panels that, besides simplifying its manufacture, allow it to boast of being made from 50% recycled materials and of being 95% recyclable at the end of its life cycle.

All practicality
Beneath its charming bodywork with several orange and white details lies a lightweight tubular structure and two doors that open upwards, with large glass panels that provide plenty of light and make it easy to get in and out of the vehicle.
Inside, the new Duo can accommodate up to 2 occupants with sufficient headroom, one behind the other. Its seats are upholstered in ultra-resistant TEP fabric, and there is also a simple central instrument cluster, a holder for your phone (which will act as the infotainment system) and 8 buttons from which you can control starting, driving and other functions of the vehicle, among other things.

Available from age 14
As far as its mechanical side is concerned, Mobilize has only confirmed that it will have a single electric motor and will be available in two versions. One of them will have its speed limited to 45 km/h, which will allow it to be driven from the age of 14, and the other will be able to reach up to 80 km/h. As for its range, it will be able to cover 140 kilometres on a single charge.
In addition to the small Duo, Mobilize has also presented its new Mobilize Bento, a single-seat version that will feature a rear cargo area with 700 litres of capacity, due to be available in 2024.
