More images of the Roewe 350 and official data

In the end, the information about the Roewe 350 has taken a while to arrive, since for a month images of the model had been leaking out, some details about its distinctive equipment or even the engines but now we can bring you new images of the model, especially of the interior, and the data on the engines this saloon will use.

First of all we have the 1.5i 16V engine, which will deliver 103 CV, although there will also be a turbocharged version of this same engine delivering 135 CV. But where the 350 really stands out is in its design and equipment: externally they have achieved a very well-executed line with rather Western features, but at least it is original (unlike other brands).

The interior also seems well finished, although it will have to be seen in person, because it is a light interior in the Chinese style, and the materials are surely not all as good as those of European models. It is also to be expected that the units arriving in Europe in 2011 and manufactured in the United Kingdom will have better quality.

The equipment will be quite complete, and it is striking to see that ESP is standard, as are traction control and alloy wheels, among other features. We also cannot forget that it will have a DVD player and a multimedia system, the Roewe 350 DVD/GPS, which will include the Android system, with which we will be able to get real-time traffic data or browse the internet from the car.

Let us hope that the planned date is finally kept and that by 2011 it will not only reach England but also be available in the rest of Europe under the MG brand.
