More safety systems for the Toyota

Toyota has announced that from 2015 its vehicles will gradually begin to incorporate new active and preventive safety systems.
It is a battery of next-generation elements that the brand has already begun testing in Japan.
The brand has decided to name these new systems Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), grouping them into different packages to make them more appealing to the public. For now, there will be two packages that can be fitted to different models from the Japanese brand.

The first of them is called TSS C, and will be offered on compact vehicles with a more urban focus. This package is made up of three main systems, the most significant being a pre-collision system made up of a laser camera and a radar. If it detects a risk of collision, the system emits an acoustic and visual signal to alert the driver. If the driver does not react, the system will autonomously begin applying the brakes.
This package is complemented by the addition of a lane change assist, as well as an automatic high beam system, capable of switching the high beams on and off automatically without dazzling other road users.

The second package is called TSS P, will be offered on mid-size and larger segment vehicles, and will include all the elements of the previous package (TSS C), additionally adding a radar-guided cruise control and a more advanced pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.
Without a doubt, this is a strong commitment by the Japanese manufacturer to improve the safety of its vehicles, one of the most decisive factors when buying a car.
