The MotoGP World Championship will hold this weekend its penultimate round of the 2017 season in Malaysia, at the Sepang Circuit, closing out the Asian leg in the most exciting way, with Marc Márquez and Andrea Dovizioso engaged in a fierce battle for the crown of the premier class.

Márquez has built a substantial advantage going into this round in Malaysia, since after the Australian round there is a 33-point gap between the Honda rider and the Ducati rider. Without a doubt, the Phillip Island round was not the best for the Italian, as he lost many opportunities after making a mistake on the second lap, losing many positions and having to fight back to earn the most points possible, but finishing the race from 13th position.

Therefore, in Malaysia Márquez will have the first match ball of this 2017 season, but it will not be easy, since Dovi will fight to make things difficult for him. However, it will not depend solely on those two, as the rest of the riders and the weather conditions will be key for the penultimate round of the year. In 2016 the victory went to Dovi, followed by Rossi and Lorenzo, so there is maximum expectation for this round of the 2017 season.
