The electric SUV from Nissan is ready for the Tokyo Motor Show in a teaser video

The start date of the Tokyo Motor Show is getting closer and closer, and we are eager to see the new products that will be presented at the Japanese event. Nissan is preparing the presentation of an electric SUV about which we really know nothing, although we received some news just a few days ago. We will have to wait until the presentation in the Japanese capital to find out what we will see at the brand’s stand. We don’t have any more information, but we can see them preparing the car, conveniently covered with a sheet, in a video that you can watch in this article.

Being covered, we cannot see details of the bodywork or of what is hidden under the sheet. Even so, there is some more general information that can be perceived. We have a view of the front end, with a look that may recall the Nissan LEAF, the model it is based on. That said, far from being a car designed for urban mobility, it is conceived to stand out with an SUV style. This will make it a very attractive and suggestive vehicle, although for now we are left wanting to see more details of it.

The name of this concept car is not known, but everything suggests it will be Terra, a name we already saw on an earlier concept car powered by a fuel cell. As for what can be seen, we notice a more aggressive fascia and slim headlights, together with larger air intakes. The wheel arches are quite prominent and the C-pillar helps maintain the look of the LEAF.

Besides the look we can glimpse, we also know it will have autonomous driving technology equipment. It will not be the only fully electric model we will see in Tokyo, since the Nissan LEAF Nismo Concept and the version of the e-NV200 with a refrigerated box, called the e-NV200 Fridge, will also be presented.
