MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli Edition is not the definitive Italian motorcycle, but it comes close

It will be presented at EICMA in Milan in a few days, and it is the motorcycle born from the union between the motorcycle brand and the tyre brand, looking like this

The relationship between MV Agusta and Pirelli has developed over the decades, but it was unofficial, with nothing definitive. Until now. This year the collaboration has been formalised, with Pirelli becoming the official tyre supplier for its models. In addition, this partnership has given rise to the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli Edition, a limited-edition motorcycle that will be on display at the upcoming EICMA in Milan.

The limited model is based on the Agusta naked model, but it has been given a very attractive and aggressive look, so that it is clearly a special edition and makes you want to have it in your garage. The tyres fitted to this model are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels. It is worth remembering that these are two of Italy’s most important companies, so the union is quite significant for the industry, and the result is certainly quite spectacular.

The motorcycle has been customised by the Castiglioni Research Centre, always with the collaboration of Pirelli Design, the brand’s laboratory specialised in creating special developments with external partners, which helped design the model and prepare the presentation of the special version. Its look is mainly characterised by the black body, which is adorned with a red or blue stripe, giving it that special touch. In addition, the wheels also feature these colours, just as Pirelli does in Formula 1.

The heart of the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Pirelli Edition is an 800 cc engine that delivers a considerable 116 CV, providing not only image but also the power needed to hold its own. Although it is the first motorcycle to emerge from a partnership with Pirelli, it is not the first vehicle of this kind, since Lamborghini already did something similar with an Aventador some time ago. For now, we do not know availability or price, but we expect more details to be offered after the presentation in Milan.
