Prius Toyota Hybrid Cars New York Auto Show
Mystery: What new Prius will Toyota show at the 2016 New York Auto Show?
Toyota wants to surprise you during the 2016 New York Auto Show with a surprise related to the Prius, one of the most popular hybrid models in the United States, which seems that it will either be updated or have a new version added to its range

The Toyota Prius is a fairly popular car in the United States, so it should come as no surprise that at the upcoming 2016 New York Auto Show, which will take place at the end of this March, the brand is offering us a surprise related to this model. But what will this surprise be?
The only thing we’ve been able to see so far is the image heading this article, which shows us the rear light signature of the car. And nothing more. And here’s the curious part. So far, the Prius has rear lights that are completely different from these, which already makes us suspect that the surprise will be a big one. On the current model, the lights are vertical, and in the image distributed by Toyota we see a row of LED lights running from one side of the car to the other.
An image that hides more than it shows
What awaits us with this new Toyota Prius? We know it will be an addition to the model family, but this leaves quite a few questions up in the air. Will it be a new hybrid version with plug-in technology? Will it be a new body style seeking to stand out from the existing ones? Is it a facelift on one of the current versions?
Toyota is not willing to give more details about this model until the company’s press conference at the New York Auto Show, which is scheduled for March 23, at 9:10 a.m. local time. So we can only imagine what this image is hiding and what new Prius we will find when the Japanese company unveils its presence at the New York event.
