Citroën is renewing one of its key models in the European market, the Citroën C3. The motto and main novelty this new model brings compared to its predecessor and, in general, to its direct competitors is the amount of light flooding the cabin thanks to the new Zenith windscreen, which gives passengers 80º more vertical vision and makes the C3 the model with the best visibility in its segment.

The dimensions of this new C3 are less than 4 metres long, 3.94, 1.73 metres wide and 1.52 metres high. It will offer three HDi engines with 70, 90 and 110 horsepower (CV), and four petrol engines Euro V, which will be a 1.1i, a 1.4i, a 95 CV VTi and a 120 CV VTi. The brand highlights the 90 CV HDi with emissions of just 99 grams per kilometre.

As for the interior, Citroën has worked hard on soundproofing and on placing the driver in a higher seating position: this isolates outside noise and creates the sensation of driving on a cloud, as you can see much more of the sky. It features a Hi-Fi system and, as an option, a Bluetooth hands-free kit.

It manages to earn 4 stars in the EuroNCAP test, five for adult and child occupant protection and pedestrian protection, and 4 for passive safety. Standard ABS and side airbags help it score highly in this area. 300 litres of boot space and 4 different trim levels complete the presentation of this model, available in 10 different colours.
