New details of the 2012 Corvette

New information has emerged about the 2012 Corvette. Beyond the previously announced “Centennial Edition”, Chevrolet is preparing a new package called “ZR1 Performance”, as well as another called “Ultimate Performance” for the Z06.
The “Ultimate Performance”, also referred to as Z07, comes with the “Performance Traction Management” (until now available exclusively on the ZR1), “Magnetic Selective Ride Control”, carbon-ceramic discs from manufacturer Brembo and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres mounted on new-design black wheels.
Those same wheels are included in the “ZR1 Performance” package, in 19-inch size at the front and 20-inch at the rear. This package also includes an improved six-speed manual gearbox.
Inside, we will find a new steering wheel and turned leather inserts on the seats. A new colour will be available, Carlisle Blue.

If you’ve got yourself in a muddle with so many packages and English names, don’t worry, it’s normal. By the way, the images correspond to the “Centennial Edition”.
