The Japanese brand Mitsubishi has renewed its range of engines in its Lancer model with the introduction of a new diesel block that raises its power to 150 CV. Specifically, this engine features MIVEC technology and is the same one already fitted to another model from the brand, the ASX.

According to Mitsubishi, compared with the previous engine, this new diesel unit increases power by 7%, while consumption and emission levels are reduced by 10%. All of this allows it to reach 150 CV at around 4,000 rpm, while its maximum torque of 300 Nm is available between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm.

As for fuel consumption, it stands at 5.6 litres on the combined cycle, with emissions reduced to 148 g/km. Finally, prices start at €25,470 for the Lancer 200DID Motion, while for the Lancer Sportback 200 DID Motion the price drops to €24,360. However, during July there will be a promotional offer that includes a €3,000 reduction.
