New engines for the Opel Insignia

The German brand’s flagship receives changes to its engine range, with updates to the two-litre diesel engines delivering 130 and 160 CV, and a new 140 CV petrol engine is also added.
The Insignia debuts a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 140 CV, an engine that is also available for the Astra and the Meriva. Meanwhile, the well-known two-litre diesel engine receives improvements to reduce consumption, with the Start&Stop system fitted as standard.
The 130 CV 2.0 CDTi diesel now improves acceleration figures and the 160 CV version increases its top speed by 11 km/h, cutting acceleration times by 1.5 seconds. Both feature CO2 emissions of 115 g/km
