New entry-level version of the Nissan LEAF e+: same power and less equipment

The Nissan LEAF with the longest range now arrives in an entry-level version that keeps the range and drops some equipment to lower the final price

Nissan Leaf E+

The Nissan LEAF remains the electric vehicle from the Japanese brand and is one of the best-selling in the world. However, it has a fairly high cost, which makes it not very easy for users to become interested in it. For that reason, Nissan wants to bring this model closer to potential buyers by launching entry-level versions, bringing this model within a more affordable figure. In January it launched a basic version, called Nissan LEAF Acenta Acces, and now the brand has launched the Nissan LEAF e+ Acenta Acces, the same accessible version of the LEAF with more range.

This entry-level version of the LEAF with extended range involves a reduction in equipment, but it will keep the engine power and the range. The range comes from the 62 kWh battery, which allows a range of 385 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. The electric motor’s power is the equivalent of 218 CV and a maximum torque of 340 Nm, so it is an interesting car that is worth considering.

Equipment of the Nissan LEAF e+ Acenta Acces

The battery size of the Nissan LEAF e+ is larger than in other versions, which means the boot is smaller. Even so, it reaches 385 litres and is quite functional. As for equipment, the Nissan LEAF e+ Acenta Acces loses some of the elements present in other variants, but it still has a lot to offer.

This equipment includes a multimedia system with an 8-inch screen, which includes navigation and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; adaptive cruise control; automatic climate control; rear-view camera; Nissan Connect Services; LED daytime running lights and rear lights; 16″ alloy wheels; 100 kW fast charging and V2X bidirectional charging. A very well-judged selection of equipment for an entry-level version.

Price of the Nissan LEAF e+ Acenta Acces

This entry-level version of the Nissan LEAF e+ has a starting price of 40,120 euros, but this is before the discounts offered by the brand, which are conditional on financing through it. In this case, the price drops to 34,400 euros. With this entry-level version of the longest-range variant of Nissan’s electric model, you can enjoy this car on a tighter budget and with all the advantages it offers.
