New Fiat Doblò Active Family Space

The new Fiat Doblò Active Family Space is the most family-oriented version of all those within the Doblò range. It can be used perfectly well day to day, as a work tool or for leisure at weekends. It is the fourth generation of this model, but it has evolved over the years to meet today’s needs for mobility and comfort.

Available with 3 trim levels, 2 roof heights, 2 wheelbase lengths and a choice of 5 or 7 seats.It features a completely renewed exterior and interior design capable of conveying dynamism and personality through its most distinctive shapes and lines. It has a large glazed area providing visibility and light to the interior of the cabin, and convenient sliding side doors that make access to the interior of the new Fiat Doblò Active Family Space even easier.

It is available with 3 trim levels (Pop, Easy and Lounge), 2 roof height variants, 2 wheelbase lengths, 5 interior ambiences and 2 seat configurations (5 as standard and 7 optional).

The large exterior mirrors, which ensure good visibility, incorporate indicators. The new 16″ alloy wheels (depending on version) also stand out. To maintain an elegant and distinctive exterior look, customers can choose from 11 body colours, including the exclusive Grigio Colosseo.

Higher roof variant

The interior has also received a thorough renewal. It offers a wide range of customisation through combinations of colours, materials and trims. The new ergonomic dashboard features a strip in a different colour that matches the seat upholstery and door panels depending on the version (Pop, Easy or Lounge).

Large boot capacity, from 790 to 4,000 litres. Interior modularity is one of the main highlights of the new Fiat Doblò Active Family Space. The front passenger seat can be folded down to form a table (available as an option). The second and third row seats (in the 7-seat configuration) can be reclined and folded easily using practical operating levers. In addition, the third row of the 7-seat version can be removed completely.

The §h53;boot volume in the short-wheelbase version offers 790 litres, which rises to 3,200 litres with the seats folded down. The long-wheelbase version has a boot volume of 1,050 litres, which increases to 4,000 litres when the seats are folded. These are really good figures to consider. All of this is complemented by multiple practical storage compartments.

In terms of active and passive safety, the new Fiat Doblò Active Family Space features advanced electronic stability control systems such as ABS with EBD electronic brakeforce distribution, ESC with ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist) and Hill-Holder to assist with hill starts. The safety equipment is completed by front airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Side airbags protecting the head and chest in the event of an impact are optional.

Regarding infotainment, it features a system with active matrix display, FM/AM radio, multimedia player with USB and iPod connectivity, auxiliary input, automatic volume adjustment depending on speed, Bluetooth (without voice recognition) and, as an option, steering wheel controls.

Available with the Uconnect 5″ multimedia system depending on version Alternatively, you can opt for the Uconnect 5″ multimedia system with a 5″ colour touchscreen, which provides access to the radio, the multimedia player, iPod, iPhone and smartphones, which can be connected via the USB port and the auxiliary connector. It also gives access to additional functions such as phone call management or reading incoming SMS messages aloud via text-to-speech technology, in addition to the innovative Audio Streaming system. All of this is supported by an advanced Bluetooth interface.

The Uconnect 5” multimedia system is complemented by steering wheel controls and the ecoDrive software, which helps reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. As an option, the system can be fitted with an integrated satellite navigation system developed in collaboration with TomTom.

The available engines are two petrol engines: 1.4 with 95 CV and 1.4 T-JET with 120 CV, and four turbodiesel engines: 1.3 Multijet with 90 CV, 1.6 MultiJet with 90 CV (available with the Dualogic robotised gearbox), 1.6 MultiJet with 105 CV and 2.0 MultiJet with 135 CV. The range is completed by the bi-fuel engine (petrol and methane) 1.4 T-JET with 120 CV Natural Power.
