New Fiat Dobló for early 2010

Fiat will debut in mid-February in Spain the new Fiat Dobló, which aims to combine family life and work in a single vehicle, with cargo capacity as well as comfort and convenience for passengers. The exterior design has been freshened up slightly, and the interiors have been designed to create pleasant environments through the mix of colours, materials and upholstery.
The new Fiat Dobló can seat up to 7 people and offers 4 engine options : a 95 CV petrol engine and three 90, 105 and 135 CV Multijet diesel engines. Some versions come as standard with Start&Stop technology, which switches the engine off when stopped to reduce consumption and emissions on short journeys.
Active and passive safety has been a priority in this vehicle, with mechanical solutions such as the Bi-link rear suspension , which can adjust the calibration of its components depending on how the vehicle is used. ABS with EBD brake force distribution and ESP as standard on the top trim level complete the active safety features. In terms of passive safety, the programmed deformation bodywork and several airbags fitted as standard can be complemented with various extras such as a parking sensor and cruise control.
Prices have not yet been revealed, but as a mainstream offering they should not deviate too much from the segment average. A good option for the large number of self-employed workers in Spain who need a car for personal and professional use.
