New Fiat Fullback Cross: the pick-up gains character and sportiness

Fiat unveiled the Fullback Cross at the Geneva Motor Show. The pick-up receives a more muscular and aggressive design. It features a 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine producing 180 CV of power.

The updated Fiat pick-up – the Fullback Cross – was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The model has received a new look that stands out for its greater presence and sportiness. The Fullback Cross also features several dynamic improvements and a 180 CV engine.

The proportions of this new model (5.28 metres long, 1.81 metres wide and 1.78 metres high) speak of a large vehicle, but if anything has changed on this car it is its exterior image. The new version of the Fullback Cross has gained character and sportiness compared to its predecessor; two very appreciated qualities in a pick-up.

The Fullback Cross offers a 2.4-litre turbodiesel powertrain that delivers 180 CV of power and 430 Nm of torque. This powertrain can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic transmission; the latter option includes steering-wheel paddles. Naturally, this pick-up offers four-wheel drive and stands out for its Torsen-type centre differential and for including an E-Locker rear differential.

The model offers a double cab configuration and eye-catching 17-inch alloy wheels. The pick-up is available in several body colours, but perhaps the most striking is the “Colosseo Grey” visible in the image. This colour is complemented by the matt black front grille; the wheel arches, door handles and wing mirrors are finished in the same colour. The Fullback Cross comes equipped with bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights (DRL).

Inside this model we find several elements trimmed in leather, such as the seats, the steering wheel and the gear lever. As for the standard equipment of the Fullback Cross, driver assistance features such as lane departure warning and cruise control stand out. Heated seats, a rear-view camera or a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system are also included in the price.
