The new Mercedes C-Class debuts a sporty version: the Mercedes-AMG C 63. The revamped sports saloon arrives on the market in saloon and estate bodies. Orders can already be placed for this model, which is available from €98,250. The first units will arrive in November.
Twin-turbo V8 engine with up to 510 CV
The new Mercedes-AMG C63 is available in two versions: C63 and C63 S. Both feature the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, but in the first it develops 476 CV and in the second 510 CV. Torque is 650 and 700 Nm, respectively. Thanks to this powertrain, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds (4.1 in the standard version).

This propulsion system also incorporates a series of dynamic mounts that act in two ways:
- Reducing engine vibration and noise, while also increasing ride comfort when driving slowly.
- Improving the manoeuvrability and agility of the engine when opting for dynamic driving.
The twin-turbo V8 engine of the Mercedes-AMG C63 is paired with the new 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission. This automatic gearbox allows faster recovery and more spontaneous reactions when changing gear.

Sporty chassis
The new Mercedes-AMG C63 comes as standard with an electronically controlled rear differential, which enables more precise traction management. As part of this system, AMG TRACTION CONTROL allows the rear axle’s degree of slip to be adjusted across up to nine levels.

The car also features AMG DYNAMICS technology. This system, integrated into the stability control, expands the functions of ESP by distributing force between the rear axle wheels (Torque Vectoring), which provides greater traction and therefore agility through corners.
More technological interior

Inside, there is optionally a new digital instrument cluster for Mercedes, which includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The AMG steering wheel is also newly designed and integrates Touch Control buttons. A new touch panel with controller has been added to the centre console.
