New Mercedes-Benz A-Class Saloon: wide range of engine options
The new A-Class Saloon is presented as a vehicle that combines the proportions of a dynamic, compact saloon with the modern and efficient engines characteristic of the brand.
The compact car options in the Mercedes-Benz range are expanded with this new model, which acts as a dynamic compact saloon. We are talking about a four-door vehicle that leads its segment in terms of headroom in the rear seats.
Of course, the new A Saloon will offer multiple modern and efficient engine options. It will also feature a high level of safety with advanced driver assistance systems and the MBUX infotainment system.

This new model can also boast the best aerodynamic drag coefficient of any series-produced vehicle in the world, thereby once again matching the world record held by the CLA Coupé.
The A-Class Saloon stands out for its comfort and practicality. This means levels well above the average for its segment. For example, the shoulder and elbow room, as well as the headroom, are more generous than normal.
It leads its segment in terms of rear-seat headroom. The boot offers a capacity of 420 litres and has been designed to be as versatile as possible. Given its generous dimensions, it allows luggage and other items to be loaded and unloaded comfortably with extreme ease.

The main appeal of the new A-Class Saloon, however, lies in the wide range of engine options available for it. Below we present the engine options available for this new member of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class family:

It is important to emphasise that the new A-Class Saloon has set a new world record for the lowest aerodynamic drag of a series-produced vehicle. The new saloon has a Cx coefficient of 0.22, even equalling the world record held by the CLA Coupé.
With regard to its technological features, the new A-Class adds interesting extras to complete a truly outstanding experience for the customer.

The Keyless-Go with Hands-Free Access, for example, is one such example. It is offered as optional equipment and allows the boot lid to be opened without any direct contact, simply by moving your foot beneath the rear bumper.
The MBUX system (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), on the other hand, is a completely new system from the German manufacturer; in fact, this new A-Class is the first to include it as standard. It provides the user with more connectivity options and comes equipped with an AI that learns and adapts based on our decisions.

Its design is a purist approach that puts the emphasis on surfaces, giving it an attractive and eye-catching appearance. This is reflected in its surfaces, its reduced lines and its precise panel joints.
The new A-Class Saloon has the proportions of a dynamic and compact saloon, with short overhangs at the front and rear that make it one of the best options in its segment.
