New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé and Cabriolet: orders now open for both models
Mercedes-Benz has just announced that orders are now open for the new S-Class Coupé and Cabriolet. Both models feature a wide range of advanced technology equipment.

High-performance vehicles are gradually receiving technology and features that make them highly versatile. This is reflected in the way sportiness and comfort coexist in perfect harmony within a single car. This is the case of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the flagship of the German brand, but to give it a somewhat more radical and sporty edge, the brand has decided to update the Coupé and Cabriolet versions of its most luxurious car.
The star brand has just announced that it is now possible to order either of the two new versions of the S-Class. Both models offer a series of features that keep them at the level of demand of today’s market. Both exterior and interior receive a series of improvements that give the S-Class a much more modern and current essence, but there is also thorough work in the technology section.
In terms of design, we find improved front bumpers that keep the elegance of the S-Class intact while giving it a more sporty look. Another novelty of this restyling is the introduction of OLED rear lights, which provide the S-Class with much clearer and more visible lighting for other drivers and, at the same time, enhance the overall design of the German saloon.

As for the interior, the element that draws the most attention is, without a doubt, the new steering wheel that the S-Class will feature from now on. The brand sets aside the two-spoke steering wheel and introduces a new wheel that exudes quality all around. At the same time, it also conveys sportiness thanks to its flattened lower section.
Regarding the infotainment system, we find two large screens that dominate the dashboard of the new S-Class. Both measure 12.3 inches diagonally and provide access to all kinds of information. Furthermore, the new S-Class debuts three different styles for the speedometer and tachometer: Classic, Sport and Progressive. Each one gives the car a different character.

For now, the star brand links this restyling to three engines, ranging from the new S 560, through the S 63 AMG, and culminating in the all-powerful S 65 AMG. Over time, we will see these novelties applied to other engines, but until then we will have to pay an amount of 162,150 euros for the most “modest” version of the S-Class.
