New Nissan Micra 2021: more customisation options
New trim levels, more customisation possibilities and a more efficient engine are some of the changes to the Nissan Micra for 2021

Nissan improves and at the same time simplifies the Nissan Micra range for 2021. It does so by adding minor styling touch-ups, restructuring the trim levels and the options included in each case, and with an engine upgrade to increase efficiency.
Only one 1.0 petrol engine
The only engine available is the 1.0 three-cylinder petrol. Nissan does not clarify whether from December, when the new model goes on sale, it will still be possible to choose between two power outputs depending on the trim, with 100 or 117 CV, as still appears on the brand’s configurator with the versions currently remaining in stock. All it says is that the engine has been revised with a torque curve that improves response at low revs, and that emissions and consumption have also been improved.

As for the trim levels, the new N-Design version is now added to the Visia, Acenta and Tekna levels, placed in the range just below the N-Sport, which has been very successful so far.
New N-Design trim level
This N-Design trim allows you to choose between gloss or chrome finishes for the trim pieces and the wing mirror housings, in addition to 16-inch alloy wheels of a new design. Inside, it is characterised by black seats with grey details and the dashboard and doors upholstered in a material with a leather-like appearance. A striking orange colour is also available.

The Nissan Micra with N-Sport trim features 17-inch wheels, full LED headlights and fog lights, gloss black exterior trim and seats upholstered in Alcantara with an ergonomic design. For the more “tech-addicted”, the Tekna version includes the 360-degree camera and the Bose Personal audio system. From the Acenta trim upwards, all Nissan Micra models come with the safety pack as standard, which integrates automatic high beam, traffic sign recognition, intelligent lane change control and an anti-collision system with pedestrian detection.
