New Opel Combo Cargo: a van that leads in load capacity

The new Opel Combo Cargo offers a load capacity of 4.4 cubic metres.

Opel has unveiled the fifth generation of the Opel Combo Cargo, its compact cargo van. The new version of this commercial vehicle has been built on a completely new platform that allows it to increase its load volume and become one of the benchmarks in its segment. The worldwide premiere of this model will take place on 19 September 2018 at the Hannover International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles. The new Opel Combo Cargo will be available to order after the German show.

Two variants with ample load capacity

The new Opel Combo Cargo is available in two variants: a short version 4.4 metres long and a long version 4.75 metres long. Both offer cabs with two or three front seats, and a spacious double-cab version with five seats.

The new Opel commercial van outperforms its competitors in load capacity: it offers a load volume of up to 4.4 m3, a payload of up to 1,000 kg and a loading floor length of up to 3,440 mm for objects and work materials. A notable feature of this vehicle is that the distance between the two wheel arches is wide enough to load Euro pallets; two of them even fit in the loading space of the short version of the Combo Cargo.

The new Opel Combo Cargo incorporates new infotainment systems, all compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Multimedia Radio and Multimedia Navi Prose systems, both optional, are controlled via an eight-inch colour touchscreen.
