PSA’s commercial family

The integration of Opel into the PSA Group continues, and a good example is the new Opel Combo, which will share its platform with the new Peugeot Partner and Citroën Berlingo. All three will form PSA’s light commercial vehicle range. They will all be built at PSA’s factory in Vigo and will offer wide possibilities for both commercial and family use.

And this is not just a statement of intent. The Life version of the new Opel Combo presents itself as a high-quality light commercial vehicle, with components typical of the SUV or compact segment and possibilities for every taste and need.

More versatile than ever

Long or short versions and 5- or 7-seat options provide exceptional luggage capacity. All the new features of the new Opel Combo make the Opel people carrier more versatile than ever, including this new Life version focused on family use, which in addition to meeting all work needs allows you to enjoy weekends with the family.

The new Combo can be ordered in a standard version (4.40 metres) or a long version (4.75 metres), with five or seven seats. In either option, space will not be a problem. The short version with 5 seats has a minimum luggage capacity of 597 litres, while the long option starts at a minimum of 850 litres. Maximum storage, measured up to the roof with the rear seats folded, reaches 2,126 litres in the standard Opel Combo Life and goes up to 2,693 litres in its longest version.

A vast amount of cargo space that will carry a large quantity of luggage along with the other passengers. In addition, Opel offers the option of one or two sliding rear doors to make access to the vehicle easier. The second row of seats can also be configured, choosing between the bench row that comes as standard or the option of three individual seats.

New technological equipment

The new Opel Combo Life raises the equipment level of the segment in terms of technological equipment and driving assistance. The Opel commercial vehicle includes assistance systems typical of compact and SUV vehicles, among which the Head-Up Display, front collision warning with pedestrian detection, rear-view camera, lane-keeping assist, or the rear-view camera stand out, which widens the viewing angle at the rear of the vehicle up to 180 degrees.

In addition to the safety assistance systems, the Combo Life includes the latest-generation infotainment system from Opel. All of this is within the driver’s reach thanks to a centre console designed for practicality, divided into 3 zones, topped by an 8-inch touchscreen. A connectivity plus that matches the higher interior quality of the cabin, with comfort extras such as the heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats and the panoramic roof.

A more refined look

While the interior of the new Opel Combo has been refined and updated, the vehicle’s exterior silhouette also features substantial changes, with particular emphasis on the front. A redesigned grille, LED headlights with the typical Opel shape, and a shorter front overhang with a higher bonnet. The new wheel arches give the Combo a sturdier look, while the chrome details on the silhouette add an extra touch of elegance.
