New Opel Insignia: Sporty, safe and with all-wheel drive
The new Opel Insignia arrives sportier than ever, safer, and with all-wheel drive. A perfect package that made its debut at the Brussels Motor Show.
The new Opel Insignia comes in its sportiest format, adds safety thanks to all-wheel drive, and is equipped with the most cutting-edge technologies in the sector. It made its debut at the Brussels Motor Show.

For the first time, alongside the Grand Sport saloon and the Sports Tourer estate, the Brussels Motor Show will display the new and elegant design of the sports model GSi. The latter features striking air intakes at the front as well as a dynamic front spoiler in the same area.
The sports car has a turbocharged engine, petrol 2.0 that produces 230 CV of power. It also has a 9-speed automatic gearbox, new mechanics and an electro-hydraulic braking system, “e-Boost“.

As if that weren’t enough, it also has electromechanical damping Flexride, which, combined with all-wheel drive and a rear Twinster differential with torque vectoring, offers a level of dynamism and safety never seen before in the range.
It uses less fuel than ever
The new Opel Insignia has a fuel consumption that has been reduced by up to 18% compared to the previous generation. Fuel consumption under the WLTP cycle is 8.3 l/100 km.

The German brand’s flagship features two bodystyles: the GrandSport and the Sports Tourer. Both come with highly efficient engines in both diesel and petrol versions.

The new gearboxes have also been designed to promote low consumption. The six-speed manual gearbox offers the greatest benefits in this respect.
Great fun behind the wheel
The new Opel Insignia GSi is for those who appreciate what is truly special. All-wheel drive with torque vectoring is unique in its segment. In AWD mode, two clutches replace the conventional rear differential and provide perfect power transfer to each wheel in any driving situation.

Thanks to this technology, the new Opel Insignia GSi is more agile, offers the best cornering performance and stands out for its excellent traction. For an even more engaging driving experience, the new nine-speed automatic transmission can be operated manually using the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.

It is therefore the most “exciting” model in the range to date, which, combined with its all-wheel drive, will delight the most enthusiastic drivers.
