New Peugeot 508: First Edition version now on sale
Peugeot is putting the limited First Edition series of its new Peugeot 508 on sale online, with a very complete equipment list and a price from 47,200 euros.
The new Peugeot 508, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, is now on sale, though only online and in a limited First Edition version, very well equipped… but also with a high starting price: from 47,200 euros. Of course, you get the version with the most powerful engine in the range.
This is not the first time Peugeot has launched the first units of a new model using a limited series that can be reserved online. And the formula usually works, because it gives access to a version that normally comes with exclusive equipment and a configuration that is no longer available once the new model goes on general sale.
Peugeot 508 First Edition: petrol only
Based on the GT trim, in the case of the new Peugeot 508, the First Edition version can only be chosen with the most powerful PureTech petrol engine, the 225 CV unit, paired with the EAT8 automatic gearbox. A genuine high-flying sports saloon, capable of a top speed of 250 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. The official average combined consumption is 5.7 litres per 100 km.

That said, the equipment on this Peugeot 508 First Edition is extremely complete. To mention just a few items, it includes two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels, specific decorative details (grille, door sills), a night vision system to detect pedestrians or animals at night, full LED headlights, advanced parking assist, panoramic sunroof, active suspension, hands-free tailgate or premium hi-fi system.
How is the Peugeot 508 First Edition bought?
The online reservation process for the Peugeot 508 First Edition is very simple. Just visit the website https://reserva-nuevo508.peugeot.es and go through the selection process, where, besides the bodywork colour, the only choice is between cash purchase – at the stated price of 47,200 euros – or financing through the renting scheme offered by Peugeot. Different renting options can be simulated on the website itself. For example, with an initial payment of 10,000 euros, a total mileage of 60,000 km and a 48-month contract, the resulting monthly instalment is 508 euros.

Once the reservation is made – a prior payment of 500 euros is required, which allows the reservation to be held for 7 days – the customer will receive a confirmation email. The customer chooses the dealership or sales point where they prefer to close the order. As part of the purchase process, Peugeot includes wireless headphones designed by Peugeot Design Lab as a gift.
