New photos of the Aston Martin Lagonda

It seems this project will go ahead, even though Aston Martin has not issued any special statement or anything of the sort. Nevertheless, these new photos have appeared online, sourced from the CarScoop website. Our colleague Diego Moreira had already previewed some images of the concept of Aston Martin, and here we have more.
The change in direction is certainly striking: this car looks more like a Second World War tank than a classic sports car from Aston Martin. It has that aggressive grille and the stylised lines, but the enormous size of the side doors and the low height of the windows make it resemble an armoured vehicle more than something beautiful from the British designers.
If this feature were not enough, the gallery reveals curious details that may not even make it into production (and another conditional, if it ends up being built), such as plush independent cushions in the rear of the vehicle. The seats are also upholstered in a plush fabric which, to be fair, is at the very least original.
The project seems to be real and nearing completion: such a quantity of details attests to this. When there is more news we will keep you updated, but for now you have a small photo gallery to see its outlandish design. Porsche did not do badly with the Cayenne when it decided to innovate, so who knows, perhaps this is what Aston Martin needs to boost its sales.
