New seats for the Toyota GS 450h

Without a doubt, driving comfort is something that has recently been gaining a considerably high value in the market. The overwhelming power of models is giving way to the most exquisite luxury, and modern society seems to prefer comfort over power, or at least that is the impression I get from looking at the latest editions of luxury saloons.
The latest brand to join the comfort trend has been Toyota. The premium brand of Toyota has announced that it will install in its new GS 450h saloon seats that are unique worldwide, as they are equipped with a technology that is unknown to drivers until now. Without having tested them, looking only at the photos, I must say that the architecture and design seem to deliver on what they promise.
All the new features have the sole purpose of reducing fatigue on long-distance journeys and at the same time allowing optimal body support when driving sportily. The conclusions reached by Toyota’s engineers led to the construction of seats designed to firmly support both the pelvis and the spine while driving.
This pelvic support, available in a car for the first time, allows the occupant’s pelvis to be adjusted into an optimal position and consists of a retractable resin plate installed in the seat that can be activated or deactivated at the driver’s or passenger’s discretion, keeping the upper body perfectly firm and close to the seat.
I imagine the seats will allow you to sit fully snug, avoiding the typical sliding we experience when taking a bend faster than we should. They seem comfortable, but as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
