New Subaru Forester 2019: better with LPG and ECO label
Subaru updates one of its most iconic models, the Subaru Forester, which is now available with a Sport version from 27,900 euros.
The Subaru Forester 2019 gains appeal with a styling update, more
equipment and a new entry-level version of the range. You can now get a Forester with automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive and the EyeSight safety system, which are standard across the whole range, from 27,900 euros.
The Subaru Forester, which has already gone through four generations since its launch in 1997, is the best-selling model of the Japanese brand worldwide, and the second best-selling after the Subaru XV
These changes make the Forester an excellent choice for those looking for a comfortable SUV for everyday use, yet robust, reliable and capable of off-road use that other cars of this type simply cannot match. To this end, in addition to the effective permanent all-wheel drive Symmetrical-AWD of Subaru, the Forester features aids such as the hill start assist and hill descent control. And a generous ground clearance of 22 cm.

Stylistically, all versions of the Forester 2019 receive the sporty front design that was previously exclusive to the Executive Plus trim. New protective mouldings are also added to the wheel arches. Changes to the cabin are minimal. Some decorative trim on the instrument panel, and guides on the boot floor to make loading easier. A new, more durable, water-repellent PVC floor is also used.

Two petrol engines and the option of LPG
Of the four versions in the range, three are paired with the 150 CV 2.0i petrol engine, and the top of the range is the 241 CV 2.0 Turbo. All come with the Lineartronic automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Did you know that 97% of the Subaru sold in Europe over the last 10 years are still on the road?
With smooth operation and good performance, fuel consumption is the Forester’s weak point. In fact, now with the WLTP standard, which gives results closer to real-world use, average combined consumption has risen no less than 2.5 l/100 km compared with the previous NEDC cycle figure. It now stands at 8.8 l/100 km.

For this reason, the option that Subaru offers across the whole range is highly recommended to convert the Subaru Forester to run on LPG. This conversion, which allows it to carry the DGT ECO label and all its associated benefits, costs 1,750 euros. You will soon recoup the outlay if you cover a reasonable mileage, given the economic advantage of using this fuel.

Prices for the Subaru Forester 2019
All versions of the Forester are subject to the 9.75% registration tax. The current promotion is 1,500 euros off the entry-level Sport trim, 2,000 euros off the Sport Plus and Executive, and 2,500 euros off the top of the range. With these discounts applied, the final prices of the Subaru Forester 2019 are as follows:
